Susan L. Ford, BA, BCIA-EEG #1414
Board Certified in Neurofeedback
Sue's EEG Center for Neurofeeback office in Tryon is about seven miles from Herb's House. We sing Sue's praises every chance we get because her neurofeedback treatment was so instrumental in helping Herb in his recovery.
The studies of neurofeedback on addiciton recovery are very impressive and the on-going work with veterans in the realm of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is nothing short of astounding. These studies along with Herb's personal experience make us proud to be able to refer Herb's House guests to Sue. Check out this you tube video to hear what other experts are saying.
Susan Ford received her BA in Psychology and Human Behavior from Ryokan College in CA in 1985. She continued on in the Master's Program to become a Clinical Psychologist but switched gears when she learned about the powerful effects of Neurofeedback. Since Neurofeedback wasn't offered in United States Universities, Susan began studies with EEG Institute in CA, and became certified through BCIA (Biofeedback Certification Institute of America) in EEG Biofeedback (Neurofeedback) in 1998. Since 1997 she has been working clinically with adults and children suffering from a wide variety of issues from symptom reduction to performance enhancement. Among her clinical interests Susan enjoys working with adults and children with neurological or developmental disorders.
